Immerse a glass bottles in a vessel containing water heat the vessel slowly the bottle does not break even if they water begin to boil why

because heat energy is used up by water molecules to change the state of matter and overcoming the force of attraction

In the normal scenarios ,if we heat up any glass made bottle,it will be broken according to the increasing temperature.

But if we immerse those glass made bottles in the water,the most of the heat energy will be absorbed by the water molecules for heating up and evaporation.That's why the bottles will not be broken.
