Immunization is the development of resistance against a pathogen. It is carried out through vaccination. Regular vaccination will eradicate diseases from a country. Such as PPIP (Pulse Polio Immunization Programme). It is the largest Public health project. It was conducted for the first time in December 1995 in association with WHO/UNICEF an attempt to eradicate polio from our country.It is conducted twice in a year.
