Ozone depletion is due to the most harmful CFC gases (chloro fluoro carbon) the chlorine in this deplet the ozone layer which protects us from UV ( ultra violet radiation ) rays and the release of CFC'S are due to the fridge, air conditioner and all those cooling devices and this release of gas is more in cities.
