Hey Buddy! Here's your answer my friend:
Pollution is defined as the contamination of the atmosphere by different harmful effects of unwanted pollutants. The pollutants released by factories, urban areas, industries, etc. cause a lot of harm to the living health as well as to the natural environment in many ways as follows:
i) carbon monoxide when released to the atmosphere, it gets inhealed by humans and animals. It then mixes with their blood and forms a complex substance with our haemoglobin called 'carboxy haemoglobin' which gradually stops our blood circulation and leads to fetal.
ii) nitrogen dioxide, which is mainly produced by combustion of petrol/gasoline in automobiles is when released to the atmosphere causes harm to plant life resulting in retardation of photosynthetic activity. It also results in respiratory problems in human beings.
iii) smog is a combination of fog with various smokes i.e. oxides of nitrogen, is one of the most harmful pollutants. It leads to diseases related to lungs such as bronchitis, asthma, etc. It also prevents sunlight from reaching the earth's surface which affects the normal functioning of plants.
iv) chlorofluorocarbons, mostly used in refrigerants solvents and forming agents, when released in the atmosphere, they decompose under the ultraviolet radiations present in sunlight. It cost to declaration of Ozone layer by decomposing Ozone to oxygen this results in an increased amount of ultraviolet radiations from the sun, reaching into the earth. This can cause skin cancer and damage to eyes.
