Socially, financially risky behaviours can be beneficial or not, depending on success. Physically risky behaviours like skydiving can impress people and provide opportunities for lively conversations and a connection to more adventurous people. Violent, unhealthy or illegal, risky behaviours can alienate people.
Emotionally, risky behaviour can be a catalyst for a person to seek help. If the risks pay off the behaviour can boost confidence. If it doesn't, it can reinforce poor self esteem.
Physically, risky behaviours can destroy or erode health. They can also be beneficial cardiocvascular health. It depends of the type of behaviour and whether or not the risk results in success or failure.
Spiritually? That's anyone's guess. Some spiritual beliefs systems reward taking a leap of faith. Others espouse modesty and humility.

Well in order to answer I thought I’d refresh my knowledge of the precise definition….
”Risk is an uncertain event or condition that, if it occurs, has an effect on at least one [project] objective”.
Everything in life is a calculated risk and each one of us makes decisions involving risk on a daily basis but I supposed we tend to look at it in terms of risk takers and the often sad consequences of imprudent actions.
Personally I have always found myself on the risky side of the ‘bell shaped curve’. The reason being is simply the fact that I love excitement, intensity, passion and basically wild times.
Having done so have rewarded me is so many ways, friendships that I might not otherwise have had, respect from others, a confidence in my decision and risk taking behaviour. While I hate cliches, it like the one that goes “better to burn bright than long”.
Having said this, there is aline beyond I do not cross, things like driving when intoxicated, playing with firearms etc, but this is because I’ve seen the inherent danger in it.
What is the opposite of risky behaviour? Caution, timidity etc, basically boring, but that’s my personal take on it.
