Implement of GTS and neet in India has brought several challenges as the federal structure is corporated in our constitution. It is outlined by the seventh schedule of the constitution that the division of the power between states and center is through three lists:

1. Union list
2. State list
3. Concurrent list

Implementing GST and neet was not acceptable for the states. For them, it was equal to compromising on the federal structure of the state.
