Great question the only dilemma is that there are actually hundred’s of very good metaphor’s about life?? So I will tell you what my favorite metaphors to life? First, I think its crucial to understand the definition of a metaphor??

Simply put, a metaphor is a figure of speech containing an implied comparison. With metaphors, words or phrases that are ordinarily applied to one thing are applied to something you wouldn't necessarily pair it with. Here's a metaphor example: "The curtain of night fell upon us."

A metaphor is a figure of speech that describes an object or action in a way that isn't literally true, but helps explain an idea or make a comparison. Here are the basics: A metaphor states that one thing is another thing.

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” – Pablo Picasso

“Conscience is a man’s compass.” – Vincent Van Gogh

“Chaos is a friend of mine.” – Bob Dylan

“All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree.” – Albert Einstein

Love is a journey

Love is a fluid in a container

Love is fire

Love is an economic exchange

Love is a natural force

Love is a physical force

Love is a captive animal

Love is war

Love is a social superior

Here are some very beautiful metaphors about life:

Life is like a banana. You start out green and get soft and mushy with age. Some people want to be one of the bunch while others want to be top banana. You have to take care not to slip on externals. And, finally, you you have to strip off the outer coating to get at the meat.

Life is like cooking. It all depends on what you add and how you mix it. Sometimes you follow the recipe and at other times, you're creative.

Life is like a jigsaw puzzle, but you don't have the picture on the front of the box to know what it's supposed to look like. Sometimes, you're not even sure if you've got all the pieces.

Life is like a maze in which you try to avoid the exit.
