1. Total land area of Maharashtra is 3,07,713 sq. km.
2. It is the 3rd major state of India.
3. It is surrounded by M.P in the north, Chattisgarh in the east, Andhra Pradesh     in the south-east, Goa in the south west and Karnataka in the south.
4. Western coast of maharashtra is bordered by Arabian sea.
