Due to the selfish activities of human beings most of the plants and animals would become extinct in the future. So in order to conserve them the government has set aside permanent protected areas for the conservation of biodiversity in that area.A biosphere reserve large protected area which  protects everything in that area.So the rich biodiversity of the earth can be conserved and many endangered species of plants and animals can be protected. Also large scale deforestation can also be prevented. This controls pollution and global warming.Hence biosphere reserves are very helpful for the whole planet.

The continued functioning of the biosphere is dependent not only on the maintenance of the intimate interaction among the myriad  species within local communities but also on the looser yet crucial interaction of all species communities around the globe.
