Co-curricular activities, such as clubs, sports teams, and competitions, are important because it helps a student become competitive. It helps develop one's talent. It also helps with some skills that a person needs as he/she grows. Some of these skills are time management, social skills, and leadership. Co-curricular activities like clubs (i.e math club, science club, etc.), help with a student's learning experience, and might even help them on their current lessons. Sports teams can help with leadership and teamwork. Competitions help with time management, and being able to think quickly.
