Decomposers and scavengers break down dead plants and animals. They also break down the waste (poop) of other organisms. Decomposers are very important for any ecosystem. If they weren't in the ecosystem, the plants would not get essential nutrients, and dead matter and waste would pile up.

decomposers help to decompose the dead remains of plants and animals . They are important because they decompose the dead remains of plants and animals ; which keeps the surroundings clean . It would have been difficult if there were no decomposers as the remains would rot and would create bad smell.T his is why decomposers are important.
