through the effect of diffusion we can smell the scent of an object. The scent which is in gaseous form spreads in air which means it diffuses and we the smell the scent of that . When you cook a tasty food or apply perfume on your body you can smell it through the process of diffusion.

Hey there,
The exchange of gases ,I.e. ,intake of oxygen and release of carbon dioxide in respiration and intake of carbon dioxide and release of oxygen in photosynthesis.Plants have no problem in obtaining these gases directly from the atmosphere. These gases enter through root hairs in root, lenticels in woody roots and stems, and through stomata in leaves and young stems. The exchange of these gases between individual cells and their environment takes place by passive process of DIFFUSION.
hope this helps u!
