before green revolution india was a importer of grains, wheat ,rice etc food items but after few years of green revolution india became exporter of food items world wide which gives a large boost to indian economy ,now in present time 65% of Indian economy is dependent on agriculture and all . in green revolution farmer uses fertilizer ,pestisides ,and insecticides to grow healthy ,more and insect free grains .
