Healthy food is one of the most important part in leading a healthy life. Combined with physical activity, a balanced food can help us to reach and maintain a Healthy weight. Healthy food habits can reduce the risk of chronic diseases. It can also improve our concentration and promotes our overall health.

However, it is worring that obesity among children is growing, worldwide. For six to eleven years old children, the rate of obesity increased from four in the seventies to a stagerring eighteen percent in 2010. One of the key which contributed to this shocking trend is bad food habits and the increasing fascination towards Junk Food Children who are overweight or obese are more likely to be obese as adults. Being overweight or obese can put children at a higher risk for health problems such as heart disease, hypertenion, diabities, etc.. during childhood and as they age.

As children, let's take a pledge that we will avoid Junk Foods And accept a Healthy life style. Morever, we should also work towards spreading the awareness among our friends about the importance of Healthy Food.

A human body has to perform many tasks to stay alive. To perform the tasks, it requires energy to work. Energy comes from Food. The type of energy the body have depends upon the types of food the body takes. If the body takes foods that are not nutritious, then it will not act properly, as a result the body won't be able to perform the tasks, and if the body won't perform tasks properly then it will ruin and ultimately die. So, food does a major part in our lifes.

Un-healthy foods will make a body lazy, depressed and cause diseases; whereas healthy foods will make a body, fit, healthy and disease-free.

Healthy foods include the home-made foods. These include the nutritious ones i.e. vegetables, fruits, proteins, carbs, fats, vitamin, etc. Every food have its own value. They are all necessary, lack of specific nutrients may cause diseases. Healthy foods makes the body active and strong. It also helps in brain functioning.
