NERVOUS SYSTEM plays an important role in bringing about control and co-ordination in our body............several functions in our body are controlled by nerves,,,,,it has three main functions

1. to collect sensory input from the body and external environment
2. to process and interpret the sensory input
3. to respond and execute aproppriately to the sensory input

The nervous system is divided into central nervous system {CNS} and peripheral nervous system {PNS}

CNS consists of brain and spinal cord and mainly responsible for the control and co-ordination of our body
