Power is fundamental to doing anything.
It is the ability to make something happen.
The term power has many aspects to its meaning.
It can refer to authority granted or assumed.
It can refer to actions in reality.
It can refer to properties of matter or things or energies.
It can refer to ideas, ideals and intuitions.
Power is an essential aspect of life, from the sub atomic, up through molecular and cellular levels to individuals, populations, cultures and systems.
And as human beings, we are very complex entities, with many levels of incentive to action possible.
If we get more power than we have awareness, that can be very dangerous.

for example... if u define power the way John Gaventa does, power has a huge impact on our lives .If u look at it in that way , the elites of society use there power everyday to get us buy into the ideologies that justify there power.It is the most important thing that is required to do any kind of work..... that may be studying or reading in school.. or helping ur Mumma doing house work or doing something else........ power plays a very wonderful role... n thus life isn't possible without it
