The word ‘Preamble’ refers to an introductory part of a statute or a body of laws and it contains the purposes, aims and justification of such stature or the body. It is like the face of a structure that conveys the underlying significance of the whole. Every work of letters has its Preamble. Without ‘Preamble’ the body of laws loses its sanctity and significance.
