Yes it is very important to select right seed for a particular agriculture as different fields has different types of soils for eg some field will have clayey soil where rice can be grown easily. and Sandy loamy soil where cotton can be grown easily.

Hey Mate : Yes this is very important for selection of seed for agricultural purpose because it play a important role in horticultur crop & agronomic . Character such as trueness of variety , germination percentage , purity, vigor &,apperance are important to farmer planting crop & for homeowner established lawns & gardens . And Good quality seed
