Festivals are like glue in our life. That keeps us attached to relationships in society. When we are together as a family, friends, and society it creates a sense of unity. Unity is the most powerful weapon to fight with any obstacle in life.
When the family is connected to festivals it’s a most precious and joyful time. That’s why I think festivals are important in our life.
God also feels happiest when their kids are together and happy (Results of God’s creativity). I mean humans are the creativity of God. And when we all are together, celebrating festivals with each other no matter the cast, color, poor or rich then that’s the results God is looking for.
We all work and live separately, we don’t know each other, but on festivals, you pray and wish everyone on social media and offline “Happy Diwali, “Happy Christmas”, “Happy New year”. It’s because we all are the creativity of God and we want great things.
And a person who believes in God also believes in unity, festivals, and the importance of relationships in life.

Human beings are social beings. We need social interaction with our fellow human beings. Our social interaction brings happiness. It renews the fact of life that no one is an island. It brings the joy of being a part of each other and that in spite of differences we are dependent on each other.
Festivals give us the opportunity to forget all our worries and celebrate the positive side of life. Festivals act like stress relievers and help us balance our emotions. Festivals lower our mental and emotional negativity. They revive our positive attitude towards life.
Nothing brings people together like festivals do. Festivals contribute immensely to feelings of social cohesion. Many such celebrations focus on cultural or ethnic topics and seek to inform community members of their traditions. They involve community and bring unity and harmony.
Festivals also stimulate economic activities since they provide employment opportunities to poor and deprived people. Many people earn a living by selling flowers, gifts and balloons for festivals.
Festivals have historically been a great source of entertainment especially before the advent of mass-produced entertainment. They divert peoples’ attention from their demanding daily chores of life and amuse them which is essential for mental and emotional well-being.
Festivals, whether traditional or religious, bring us together in a bond of love, irrespective of colour, creed, race and religion. I believes that festivals, like life, are gifts that need to be celebrated.
