freedom of press is really important as it helps us tell us what it happening in the political world as well as the the rest of the world. freedom of press allows us to be informed about any person who breaks the laws.
some countries don't have the freedom to press unlike many others (eg africa)
so when an issue arises in this country half of the country is unaware of it.

A free press ensures that only genuine information are communicated to the general public. Real news is circulated, but biased or politically motivated.

The freedom of the press is incorporated in the right of freedom under the Fundamental Rights guaranteed under Article 12 to 35 contained in Part III of the Constitution. Right to Freedom provides the rights of freedom of speech and the freedom of expression. Therefore the freedom of the press is a fundamental right and one of the human rights.
