Trees are our best
friends. They provide us so many things and expect nothing in return except
love and care.
Trees give us different
fruits in different seasons like Mango, apple, banana, grapes, and orange
etc. They provide us in the hot weather. They give us
timber (wood) for building our houses and buildings. We get many medicines from
plants like Cinchona, aconite, coriander ,digitalis ,horehound, tulsi , neem,
and garlic.Wood is used by man for a number of purpose like construction of
buildings, agricultural implements etc. Trees are the only source of wood.
Timber providing trees are Pine, Fir, Spruce, and Cedar.
Trees also help in
making the air clean. They take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen thus
making the air clean. This oxygen is needed by all living organisms.
Trees also provide
shelter to many animals. The roots of trees bind the soil and help it from being
washed away by water or wind. They help in maintaining right temperature on
Earth. To conserve the trees it is important to control DEFORESTATION. The
Government is taking many steps for conserving trees. We should follow those
steps in order to save the trees.
These trees are the one
who support life on Earth. So SAVE TREES.

Trees are the most generous living things on Earth, lending a helping hand to every organism by providing them with food, oxygen as well as shelter is few cases. They are rhe fellow geen living things whose importance and significance we are not aware of. It is necessary for every human being to understand their importance, else the day of the end of life on Earth will arrive!
The various benefits and importance of trees can be listed as follows:
- Survival of Life
What do you think are the basic needs for one's survival? It's only for and fresh air, containing the life supporting gas Oxygen (O2). Both of the previously mentioned needs of survival are directly or indirectly derived from trees. Trees absorb Carbon Dioxide ( CO2 ), exhaled by us, and in return, exhales Oxygen in the atmosphere. Tees are autotrophic as they make their own food using a process named photosynthesis.
- Shelter
Trees provide shelter to a wide range of species of animals, including the endangered ones too! Groups of a huge number of tees are termed as forests. These forests are a habitat of almost every animal and bird. Forests have been even our habitat in ancient times, as our ancestors lived in forests and were tribal people.
- Climate Moderators
Did you know that the number of trees in an area is one of the factors determining the temperature of that area? Various studies on trees prove that they affect the rainfall of the places. For example, a place having more trees will receive more rainfall add compared to a place having less trees, affecting the climate of the place accordingly.
These were few of the importantes of trees. The trees have much significance for everyone, may it be us out animals and birds.
Unfortunately, we, the humans, do not understand the importance of trees and recklessly cutting them for personal interests and luxury items.
