Importance of truck driver
Answers
There is a lot of responsibility for a truck driver. You have to make sure that your load is properly strap down in the trailer. Depending on the load, as if you were loading boxes in the trailer this also depends on the weight of the boxes as well. If it's a long box you always make sure it's close to the middle inside of the trailer. To have a equal balance to the box, truck, and trailer to prevent any tipping over. Always make sure your load is strap down to prevent any sliding, moving, etc.
DOT ( Department of transportation ). Which you need to keep up lot book up to date. DOT, keeps up with all of your log book record. Always have it in hand in case you get pulled over by a law enforcement for DOT inspection. A log book is keeping up when you got the load, due date to be delivered, sleeping berth, refueling, and etc.
Unless you love to travel than this is your job. The main responsibility is whatever you are hauling in that trailer or empty. It's all on you to be responsible to be delivered to its proper location.
Responsibility - any damage to the cargo or trailer will take your money that you work hard to the damage.
Be on time - it's better to be on time than late. Don't want any mad customers. Or you may be penalized if you are really late. Unless it was emergency weather condition.
Dispatch - always notified any problems to the cargo you are delivering. Tell them when you need them as if you were running late due to serious bad weather conditions.
Money$$ - to not lose any money. Don't have any damage to any cargo. And you'll be pay what you are suppose to be pay.
