1. The sense of being oppressed under the colonial created a sense of collective ness among Indians.
2. Mahatma Gandhi made this possible by bringing the Muslims and Hindus under the umbrella of unity.
3. He had written in one of his books that, the colonial rule is only possible because of the support given to them from Indians itself.
4. Then he launched the Non- Cooperation movement which helped in getting freedom from the colonial rule.
