Hi,

Your answer:
: Yes, the astonishing truth of Christianity is that Jesus of Nazareth was God made man - that he became man without losing his divinity; that he was truly and entirely God just as he was human. If you can believe this great truth of Christianity, then you can believe all its other truths.

John wrote that "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1.14a). In other words, God became man; the divine Son became a Jew; the Almighty appeared on earth like a helpless human baby, unable to do anything but lie in bed, watch, stir, and sound.

He had to be fed and changed, he had to be taught to speak as to any other child. This was neither a dream nor an illusion; the Son of God was really a baby. The more you think about it, the more it seems improbable. It is because of their unbelief - at least because of their insufficient faith - about the incarnation that people have difficulties with other truths of the gospel.

Once one has grasped the reality of the incarnation, the other difficulties disappear.Jesus became a servant of the man.He did not live as a king in a palace, but Jesus3as a servant in his poverty. He came , not to be served but to serve. He came to show us who God is and what it really means to be a man.

It was not a case where God resided in a man; there were so many of them. Nor was it a deified man. Apart from the myths of pagan thought systems, this does not exist. It was about God and man, of the two natures united in a single Personality, perpetual and mysterious enigma, which exceeds any possible explanation.

Good bye :)
