1) Static electricity refers to the accumulation of electrical charges on the surface of a material , usually in insulator or a non conductor.In case of static electricity , the charges stay on an object without flowing .
Each electric charge can cause an influence in a small region around it . This is called electric field.
2) Current electricity refers to the movement of electrons in a particular direction .
Electron current flows from the negatively charged conductor to the positively charged conductor.
