Answer:-
(i) Sex chromosome is the chromosome which determines the sex of human being.
(ii) There is one pair of sex chromosomes present in a human being.
(iii) One chromosome is inherited by the children from each parent. All the children inherit the X chromosome from their mother because the mother have X and X chromosomes. Therefore, the sex of the offspring is determined by either of the chromosomes that they inherit from their father because the father have X and Y chromosomes. If the genotype is XX then the offspring will be a female and if is XY then it will be a male.
