I fully agree with the maxim 'Impossible itself says I am possible'. I know many great personages who have accomplished 'THE IMPOSSIBLE' with positive attitude and faith in God's miraculous powers. Reverent figures such as Jesus, Lincoln, Helen Keller, Louis L Hay, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Booker T. Washington, Mahatma Gandhi, and all the other known and unknown men and women who did the impossible were men and women of conviction, commitment, dedication, and high ideals.

I also had my encounter with the impossible when I was studying in 10th standard. I was very sad, upset and depressed that day after my result of terminal exam. I had done very badly in all the major subjects. My father was mad at me; he was not in favour of continuing my education. With mother's intervention he allowed me to prove that I could do well in my studies.

I promised to myself I would work very hard to improve my grades. I just followed the basics. I did not waste my single moment in useless distractions. I just studied, studied, and studied. I made a time table, and conscientiously stuck to it. I burnt not only the midnight oil, but the early morning oil also. At school I stayed focused all the time. I did not watch TV at all. Thus working I realized, if a student utilizes his time optimally, he can do wonders. TV, friends, and loafing around are the greatest enemies of all the students. I realized studies are not difficult at all; developing the right attitude to studies, and focusing our mind on studies is difficult.

Hard work really pays off and that too with huge dividends. Not only I improved my knowledge, I secured A1 in all the subjects and topped the school in the final exams. My parents, my teachers, and friends were so happy. I was the happiest of all. This happiness of hard-earned achievement was thousand times sweeter than shallow pleasures of distractions. Thus, I too took the help of favourable powers to do the impossible.

Yes, I agree. It is possible to do the most difficult of things providing we have the will and conviction to do so. The example that comes to my mind as justification is that of Sudha Chandran, the dancer. Though her leg was amputated below the knee, with great girl and determination she restarted dancing, and went on to become a famous dancer and actress. This shows that one can do things which seem to be impossible
