heya dear,
here is your answer
==============================

Impulse of a force is equal to the change in momentum,

according to newtons second law of motion

F=m×a

F=m×(v-u/t)

F×t =m×(v-u)

F×t=mv-mu

therefore impulse =change in momentum.

thank uh !!

i hope it heped uh !!

Impulse of force is equal to the change in linear momentum.

We know that, J = F × ∆t

J = ma × ∆t

J = m (∆v/∆t) × ∆t

J = m (∆v)

J = m (v - u)

J = mv - mu

J = pi - pf

J = ∆p

hope this helps u❤️
