Solution:

Imran and Sarah share sweets between them in the ratio 2:1

Let say Imran gets = 2x

and Sarah gets = x

Total Sweets = 2x + x = 3x

Total Sweets = 24

Equate total Sweets

=> 3x = 24

=> x = 8

Let say Imran gets = 2(8) = 16

and Sarah gets = 8
