Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of a and b are x and y respectively

Now after 10 years

Age of a will be =(x+10)

Age of b 10 years ago was =(y-10)

According to the question, In 10 years, A will be twice as old as B was 10 years ago

(x+10)=2(y-10)

x-2y=-30

2y-x=30

2y-y-9=30

y=39

Now

x=y+9

Present Age of b is=39
