Let present ages of Maya be x and of David be y.

Then 15 years later,

Maya's age will be twice than the present age of David.

⇒ x + 15 = 2y

⇒ x - 2y = -15 ___(1)

David age will be equal to age of Maya after 10 yrs.

⇒ y + 15 = x + 10

⇒ y - x = - 5 ___(2)

On adding 2 equations we get,

→ - y = - 20 or y = 20

By susbtituting value we get,

⇒ 20 - x = - 5

→ x = 25

Hence age of Maya is 25 years and of David is 20 years.
