  • On 5 August 1963, The Limited Nuclear Test Ban treaty was signed between the Soviet Union and the United States in Moscow. The effects of the Cuban Missile Crisis made both the leaders of the two nations that is Kennedy and Khrushchev that they were so close to a nuclear war and this could be completely devastating.
  • The negative effects of the atomic bombs which led to the Hiroshima and Nagasaki destruction were teaching to learn and the onset of the nuclear age.
  • This treaty prohibited the Soviet Union, the United States and also the United Kingdom to ban nuclear tests of all kind that was in space, the atmosphere or even underwater.
  • It though allowed for underground testing only till the point wherein it would not possess any danger and any radioactive should not fall out of the set boundaries.
