The universal curve formed noticeably about 7.5 billion years ago during the big bang, when objects in the universe began flying apart at a very fast rate. It has been theorized that the fast expansion rate is due to a mysterious, dark force that is pulling galaxies apart and these force is called dark energy or dark matter. Till now there has been just one explanation for dark energy and that is dark matter is a property of space.
