In 2013, Rohit Sharma scored a double century against Australia at Bengaluru.

              The Hitman Show :

It was 2nd November 2013 and the cricket fans present in Bengaluru as well as the whole nation went crazy as soon as Rohit Sharma put a century against the Aussies.

The whole crowd was shouting "Ro-hit Ro-hit Ro-hit" and the surprise was yet to come. He smashed a perfect 209 out of 158 balls hitting 12 boundaries, 16 over boundaries, and some out of the park! This made him the 2nd Indian batsman to smash a double ton after Master Blaster's unbeaten 200.

With Rohit's 209, India put a total of 383 with the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, Australia put 326 all out in 45.1 overs as Faukner added a 73-ball 116. Indians bowlers made a great contribution to win the match by 57 runs. Undoubtedly Rohit Sharma was crowned with the Player of the Match award.
