the distance which is travelled by the particle is, S=50-10=40m
time, t=2 s
last velocity , V= 10m/s
first velocity, U=?
we know,
S={(U+V)/2}×t
=> 2S/t -V= U
=>(2×40/2)-10=U
=>U=30 m/s
then, acceleration; a=?
we know,
V=U+at
=>(V-U)/t = a
=>(10-30)/2= a
=>a= - 10m/s
