Time=4 years

Sum=Rs 6000

Amount=Rs 8000

SI=A-P

= 8000-6000=2000

Rate = SI*100/P*T

=200*100/6000*4=20/6*4=4/6=0.8%

Case II

Sum=Rs 525

Amount=Rs 700

SI=A-P

= 700-525

=Rs 175

Rate = 0.8%

Time= SI*100/P*R

=175*100/525*0.8

= 125/3=41.66 yrs
