Time = 4 years (given)
Principle = Rs 6500
Amount = Rs 8840
Interest = 8840 - 6500
Rs 2340

SI = P*R*T/100

2340 = (6500 × r × 4)/100

2340 = 26000r/100

2340 = 260r

r = 2340/260

r = 234/26

= 117/13

= 9

P = 1600

A = 1816

SI = 216

SI = (PRT)/100

216 = 1600 * 9 * t / 100

216 = 144t

t = 216/144 years

t = 3/2 years

Hope this help you........,

Step-by-step explanation:

Principle=6500

Amount=8840

Interest=Amount-Priciple

=8840-6500

I=2340

Time=4 Years

I=Principle × Time × Rate/100

2340=6500 × 4 × R/100

= 65 × 4 × R

2340/65 × 4=R

Therefore R=9%

P=1600

A=1816

I=A - P

I = 210

I=PTR /100

216 = 1600 × T × 9/100

T = 3/2

Therefore Time =5 years
