in 40min the boy want to go near the pit but he walk 5step front and 3step back how much time he took to go

firstly please clear the distance of pit from boy

jontyBhai: if the distance is same which he have to cover in 40 min. so now he wants 60 more min. to complete. and if your question is how much steps the boy can complete in 40 min. that is 200 steps.
