in 5 years the interest on rupees 55000 is more than the interest on rupees 40000 by rupees 15000.find the rate of interest

p =40000

a=55000

I=15000

R=I*100/p*t

R =15000*100/40000*5

R= 1500000/200000

R =15/2

R=7.5%
