Step-by-step explanation:

7 cartons have 3500 apples

So in 1 carton there are 3500/7 = 500 apples.

Now each carton has 48 rotten apples

So subtracting 500- 48

My good apples in each carton are 452.

So 1 carton has 452 good apples

7 cartons will have 452×7= 3164 good apples.
