In a 100 m race A finished just before D. B finished the race just after C and just before A. E finished the race before A and C. Who is the first runner up of the race?

Means D complete the race just after A.

the sequence is,

D, A

B finished the race just after C .

Means C complete the race just before B.

the sequece is,

B , C

B finished the race just before A.

Means the sequence is,

D,A,B,C

E finished the race before A and C.

Means E complete the race before everyone.

now the sequence is ,

D,A,B,C,E

As per the sequence E is the winner of the race.
