Let x be the tens digit and y be the ones digit
x+y=7 _____equation 1
x=7-y
Original number: 10x+y
Reversed number: 10y+x
10x+y-(10y+x) = 9
10x+y - 10y -x =9
9x-9y=9
x-y =1
7-y-y=1
-2y=1-7
-2y=-6
y= 3
From equation 1
x=7-y
x=7-3
x = 4
Therefore number is 43
