Let the tens digit be x

unit digit = 3x

A.T.Q.

sum of digits is 12

=> x+3x = 12

=> 4x = 12

=> x = 12/4

=> x = 3

unit digit = 3x = 3 × 3 = 9

tens digit = x = 3

so , the number is (10× tens digit )+ ones digit

= (3×10)+9

= 39

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the unit digit be x and tens digit be y

x = 3y -------(1)

x + y = 12 ------(2)

Sub (1) in (2)

3y + y = 12

4y = 12

y = 12/4

y = 3

Sub y = 3 in (1)

x = 3y

x = 3(3)

x = 9

Your 2 digit number is :

93
