in a 3 digit number the hundred digit is twice the tens digit while the unit digit is thrice the tens digit also the sum of its digit is 18 find the number

let tens digit be x

then unit digit = 3x

hundred digit = 2x


sum of digit = 18

=>  x + 2x + 3x = 18

=> 6X = 18

=> x = 3


tens digit = 3

unit digit = 9

hndred digit = 6


therfore, no = 639

\sf{Then,\: hundreds=2x}

\sf{And\:units\:digit=3x}

\sf{ATQ,}\sf{2x+x+3x=18}

\sf{6x=18}

\sf{x=3}

So, tens digit =3

Hundreds Digit=6

Units digit = 9

So, required number= 639
