EXPLANATION.

  • GIVEN

In a 3 digit number the tens digit us twice the

unit digit and the hundred digit is three times

the unit digit also the sum of it's digit = 7

FIND THE NUMBER.

According to the question,

Let the unit place = x

Let the tens place = y

Let the hundred place = Z

There number will be = 100z + 10x + y

sum of digit = x + y + z = 7 .......(1)

=> y = 2x , z = 3x

put the value of y and z in equation (1)

we get,

=> x + 2x + 3x = 7

=> 6x = 7

=> x = 7/6

Therefore,

=> y = 2 X 7/6

=> y = 7/3

=> z = 3 X 7/6

=> z = 7/2

Therefore,

Number is = 100z + 10x + y

=> 100 X ( 7/2 ) + 10 X ( 7/6) + 7/3

=> 350 + 35 / 3 + 7/3

=> 1050 + 35 + 7 / 3

=> 1092 / 3

=> 364

=> Number are = 364
