 \tt \:  \blue{80ml} \: of \: water \:  is \: added \: to \: make \: the \: new \: ratio

\huge{ \color{aqua}{ \underbrace{ \underline{ \color{lime}{ \mathbb{✯꧁᭄⋆SoLuTiOn⋆᭄꧂✯ }}}}}}

 \tt \: total \: amount \: of \: liquid = 720ml

 \tt  \: let \: the \: ratio \: be \: 7x \: and \: 2x

 \tt \: according \: to \: the \: question

 \tt \to7x + 2x = 720

 \tt \to9x = 720

 \tt \to  \: x =  \frac{ \cancel{720}}{ \cancel9}

 \tt \to \: x = 80

Now,

 \tt \: in \: the \: ratio \: 7 \ratio2 \\  \tt \: milk = 7x=7(80) = 560ml \\  \tt \: water  =2x= 2(80) = 160ml

 \tt \: in \: the \: new \: ratio \:7 \ratio3

 \tt \: milk = 7(80) = 560ml

 \tt \: water =3(80) = 240ml

 \tt \: added \: water = 240 - 160 =  \red{80ml}

 \tt \therefore80ml \: of \: water \: is \: added \:
