In a 96 liters mixture of water and milk, water is only 40%. The milkman sold 12 liters of the mixture to a customer and then added 10 liters of pure milk and 15 liters of water in the mixture. What is the approximate percentage of water in the final mixture?

Remaining mixture

= 90 - 18 = 72 litres

Milk =72×70100=50.4litres.

Water = 72 - 50.4 = 21.6 litres

On adding 18 litres of water,

Required percentage of milk =50.490×100

=5049=56%
