Step-by-step explanation:

2.7.12.....

a=2

d=5

so

a10=a+(n-1) d

= 2+(10-1)5

= 2+9×5

= 2+45

=47

Given :-

AP = 2 , 7 , 12

Solution :-

Given AP = 2 , 7 , 12

Here, First term a = 2

Common difference d = 7 - 2 = 5 ,

Now, we have to find 10th term

an = a + ( n - 1 ) d

a10 = 2 + ( 10 - 1 )5

a10 = 2 + 9 * 5

a10 = 2 + 45

a10 = 47

Hence, The 10th term of an AP = 47

Important Formulas :-

[ an = a + ( n - 1 )d , Here, a = first term , n = no. of terms, d = Common difference ]

[ Sn = n/2 ( 2a + ( n - 1)d , Here, a = first term, n = no. of terms , Sn = Sum of terms, d = Common difference ] .
