In A ABC, AB = 10, AC = 7, BC = 9 then find the length of the median drawn
from point C to side AB​

In △ABC , point D is the midpoint of side AB

AD=BD= 1/2AB=5

CA² +CB² =2DC² +2AD² (by Apollonius theorem)

⇒7 ²+9² =2DC² +2(5²)

⇒49+81=2DC² +2(25)

⇒130=2DC² +50

⇒2DC²=80

⇒DC² =40

⇒DC=2 √10

Hence, the length of the median drawn from point D to side AB is 2 √10
