IN A ABC,D,E,F ARE THE MID POINT OF SIDES BC, CA AND AB RESPECTIVELY.IF AR (ABC)=16CM^2,THEN FIND AR(TRAPEZIUM FBCE).

To find → ar(trapezium FBCE)
__________¡.e ,ar(∆ABC-∆AFE)

Soln→ it has been proved that
____ar(∆ABC) = ¼ar(∆AFE)____

so,ar(∆AFE) = ¼(32cm²)

ar(∆AFE) = 8 cm²...........( 1 )

now,
↙↙↙↙↙to find area of trapezium FBCE↘↘↘↘↘

✏ ar(∆ABC)-ar(∆AFE)

✏ (32-8)cm²

✏24cm²

❄↘area of FBCE is 24 cm²↙❄
